Besides being the brains behind the international superstar band Pussycat Dolls, she is a successful clothing designer, world-class choreographer, and has just teamed up with Matt Goss to bring his fabulously hot and fresh new act to Vegas. On top of all of that, Antin helps empower women by making them feel sexy in their own skin through her dancing, through her music, and even through her clothes. The All-American star oozes with self-confidence and has spent the last fifteen years putting together the Pussycat Dolls brand. PopStar spoke with Pussycat Dolls creator/manger about the rumored band split, her new workout video due out in December, and even some ideas about the Pussycat Dolls on Broadway. Can you tell us about your new work out video Pussycat Dolls Workout due out this December? It was funny I was just looking at the preview of it on Amzaon. »

'Iron Man 2': The War Machine Team-Up Addressed

3 November 2009 9:10 PM, PST | Aceshowbiz | See recent Aceshowbiz news »

More details on the War Machine of "Iron Man 2" have been spilled. Dropping by MTV recently, Sam Rockwell who will be seen as Justin Hammer in the "Iron Man" sequel gave an interesting scoop on the relationship between his Tony Stark's rival character and Don Cheadle's Colonel James "Rhodey" Rhodes.

Of the two characters' alliance, the 40-year-old actor said, "Don and I, we're working together. He works with me in spite of some of my personality flaws." Calling Hammer "a bit of a shark" in explaining the "personality flaws" remark, he then detailed that "Don's character, Rhodey, needs to work with me. He has no choice. So we team up and we build this fabulous War Machine."

Asked further whether his character might take advantage of the opportunity to try the War Machine armor on, the actor who voiced Darwin in "G-Force" stated that he has no chance to do so. »

The New York Public Library's Annual Fall Benefit Raises Record-Breaking Funds

3 November 2009 4:35 PM, PST | Vanity Fair | See recent Vanity Fair news »

The atmosphere at the New York Public Library dinner. From PatrickMcMullan.com. Stocking-less women sporting short cocktail dresses hung off the arms of their bowtie-clad dates as they glided up the steps of the New York Public Library’s Stephen A. Schwarzman building on Fifth Avenue last night, making the annual trek to the Library Lions fall benefit. Despite the gloomy economic climate, the party raised more that it ever has, with the cocktail and dinner pulling in $2.5 million, and the junior Young Lions dance portion of the evening raising nearly $220,000, which was 45 percent more than the target goal. “We couldn’t have asked for a better turnout or a more energetic crowd than the one that came to support the library last night,” said Nick Brown, who was a chairman of the Young Lions’ benefit committee along with Emma Bloomberg, Aaron Eckhart, and Scarlett Johansson, among others. Backstreet Boys Get Lost In Translation In New Music Video

3 November 2009 10:54 AM, PST | MTV Newsroom | See recent MTV Newsroom news »

The Killers went to Japan for their "Read My Mind" music video. Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson got "Lost in Translation" for Sophia Coppola. And now the Backstreet Boys have headed to the Far East for the video for their new single, "Bigger."

The video is chock full of things that Westerners equate with Japan: Harajuku girls, karaoke, sushi, lots of flashing lights, arcades and boy bands (Japan still loves boy bands, and by definition Bsb is still a boy band). The video is incredibly endearing, showing the guys laughing and goofing around with fans and each other on the streets of Japan, as well as in various restaurants and, of course, karaoke rooms.

The song is certainly a return to Bsb form. The first single off This Is Us was the band's take on an R&B club banger, complete with a vampire-themed music video. "Bigger" is quite the »

Joe Wright Not Directing 'My Fair Lady'

30 October 2009 3:33 PM, PDT | GetTheBigPicture.net | See recent Get The Big Picture news »

Well, here's a spanner in the works: Joe Wright directly contradicts reports from this past weekend that he'll be directing My Fair Lady. For the better part of two years, Keira Knightley has been the odds-on choice to update Eliza Doolittle, and we wrote that she had beaten out Scarlett Johansson for the role just a few days ago. As part of that announcement, Wright's name was dropped as the new director. But not according to him.

You can see in the video below (from Screenrush) that Wright isn't making the movie, plain and simple. It's a natural connection, though, because his first two films - Pride and Prejudice and Atonement - both starred Knightley. Plus, after the disappointing returns of The Soloist, Wright might have been reaching for a sure thing.

No such luck, though: »

This week on stage: 'Brighton Beach Memoirs' and 'Finian's Rainbow'

30 October 2009 11:00 AM, PDT | EW.com - PopWatch | See recent EW.com - PopWatch news »

This week saw the opening of two new Broadway productions, both revivals: The Neil Simon Plays: Brighton Beach Memoirs, a comedy-drama starring former Roseanne star Laurie Metcalf (left), which I described as "a fine revival, easily the best show of a young Broadway season," and the musical Finian's Rainbow, which Tanner Stransky called "an odd, farcical muscial" that is "well cast and smartly performed." Still hunting for something to see on stage? Check out the EW.com Stage hub for up-to-date news and reviews; or consult this handy guide below, which includes links to all of our stage reviews of current shows. »

Scarlett Johansson is set to make her stage debut as the star of "A View from the Bridge," which means that you'll soon have the opportunity to get a view of Scarlett on Broadway. We have a feeling that that this casting decision will draw out a bunch of folks who wouldn't ordinarily make the time to head to the theaters.Johansson will star in the famed Arthur Miller play alongside Liev Schreiber. She will play a 17-year-old orphan whose uncle (played by Liev) becomes obsessed with her. By George, I think Keira Knightley's got "My Fair Lady"

27 October 2009 9:00 AM, PDT | AfterEllen.com | See recent AfterEllen.com news »

We all already know that Keira Knightley is a fair lady, but now she is the Fair Lady. The 24-year-old English actress has landed the role of Eliza Doolittle in the new remake of the Academy Award-winning 1964 musical, My Fair Lady.

The original film, based on the Broadways smash, starred Audrey Hepburn as Cockney flower girl Eliza and Rex Harrison as the prickly, precise professor Henry Higgins. Keira reportedly beat out Scarlett Johansson for the iconic role. Other than Natalie Portman, it’s hard to think of another young actress who could possibly attempt to take Audrey’s place.

And this news just keeps getting better. The script is being written by — get this — Oscar-winner Emma Thompson. Yes, that Emma Thompson. Directing will be Joe Wright, who grew accustomed to Keira’s face when he directed her in 2005 adaptation of Pride & Prejudice. And James Bond himself, Daniel Craig, is being »

Keira Knightley

According to Telegraph.co.uk, Keira Knightley (Pirates of the Caribbean) has won the role of Eliza Doolittle in a new film adaptation of “My Fair Lady.”

Scarlett Johansson was also up for the lead role, but the site reported that Joe Wright has come on to direct, and it seems that Wright has gone with Knightley, who he directed in “Pride & Prejudice” and “Atonement” to star.

Academy Award-winner Emma Thompson (Sense and Sensibility) is writing the screenplay. Daniel Craig is also being mentioned as a possibility to play Professor Henry Higgins.

Knightley, the 24-year-old actress, last starred in “The Duchess” and has a few new upcoming roles, including in William Monahan’s “London Boulevard.”

Johansson and Schreiber Have A View From the Bridge

27 October 2009 12:57 AM, PDT | www.canmag.com | See recent CanMag news »

I typically don't cover Broadway but, if the names are strong enough, I'll tap into the medium on the rare occasion. A perfect example would be when I hear that both Liev Schreiber and Scarlett Johansson will be toplining a Broadway revival.

Scarlett Johansson, Liev Schreiber for A View From the Bridge

It looks like Schreiber and Johansson joined A View From the Bridge just in time, as it is expected to open at Cort Theater later this season. Johansson, who only recently wrapped Iron Man 2, will be making her Rialto debut in the role. Schreiber has a bit more experience, having last been on Broadway in the 2007 revival of Talk Radio. The actor also won a Tony for his part in Glengarry Geln Ross back in 2005.

Keira Knightley Not Yet Attached to Star in 'My Fair Lady'

26 October 2009 9:39 PM, PDT | Celebrity Mania | See recent Celebrity Mania news »

Keira Knightley has not landed a role in "My Fair Lady". Few days after U.K.'s Telegraph reported that she has beaten Scarlett Johansson to play the major character in the remake of 1964 film with the same title, Gossip Cop has received a confirmation from her agent's office, who said the news was "not true."

Moreover, the agent's office claimed they knew nothing about the upcoming movie's production. Meanwhile, Keira's involvement in singing lessons, which has been linked to her preparation for joining the musical film, has been described as part of her forthcoming stage debut in a London production of a play entitled "The Misanthrope."

U.K.'s Telegraph was the first which came up with news that Keira Knightley has been chosen to portray Eliza Doolittle in the 2011 film. Moreover, the site reported that she will team up once again with director Joe Wright, with whom she »
