In all likelihood, we're still quite a ways off from any real news regarding a third "Batman" movie from director Christopher Nolan—if he's even returning to the franchise, that is—but that's not stopping us from wondering which Dark Knight villain we should see in the inevitable sequel.
There's no shortage of rogues to choose from, but the one I think is an absolute necessity is Catwoman. Given the state of Bruce Wayne's life after the events of "The Dark Knight," this feels like the perfect time to introduce Selina Kyle—the woman who could either help mend Bruce's fences, or bring all of the walls tumbling down.
If Nolan, David Goyer and the other folks at DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. decide to go the Catwoman route, I think that these five actresses would be great for the role.

Neil Marshall ("Dog Soldiers," "The Descent") will direct Ghost House Pictures' "Burst 3D" which Lionsgate will be distributing. Sam Raimi and Robert Tapert of Ghost House will produce and Nathan Kehane will serve as executive producer. The script written by Gary Dauberman tells of a group of stranded traveres who meet during a blizzard and are stalked by a malevolant force which causes people to spontaneously combust. Marshall's other credit includes the effective apocalyptic science fiction thriller "Doomsday." That film starred Rhona Mitra ("Underworld: Rise of the Lycans"). »

In the continuing theme of adding interesting people with acting chops to Stargate Universe, Rhona Mitra of Underworld and Doomsday fame will join the cast of Sgu for an apparent three episode affair. She will be playing a villain that hopefully makes the Sgu kids lives miserable. According to Gateworld, she’ll play an alien bent on saving her people at any cost. The episodes will be called Subversion and the two part season ender Incursion. Speculate away. She’s a good actor. She’s cute and interesting too. Thanks io9 for the news. »

Not much is known about the upcoming "The Dark Knight" sequel, but that's not stopping rumors to be circulated on the internet. While there is no guarantee that any of them will come true, at least we know which actors and actresses would want to be part of the franchise. Regarding Catwoman, several actresses, including Angelina Jolie, Rachel Weisz, Rhona Mitra and Megan Fox, have come forward about their interest to play the character. You can now add Charlize Theron to that list. "It's news to me," Theron said about the rumor that she's being considered for Catwoman. "But that's kick-ass news. I like that. I think that what has happened to that franchise is amazing, and director Chris Nolan is a genius. So I would be an idiot to not consider that." »

This just in! Charlize Theron wouldn’t mind playing Catwoman in the sequel to the second highest grossing film of all time, The Dark Knight. Well that entire last sentence would qualify for a big, fat “Duh!” Can you tell me one person that wouldn’t say “Yes” to star in a billion dollar franchise if asked? Megan Fox was recently rumored to be playing the feminine milk-drinking feline villain a few weeks ago but Warner Bros. execs were quick to shoot that down. It’s not a direct quote but I think the press release said something like, “Um, Hell No!”
During an Stv interview that probably only consisted of some guy with a mini-voice recorder stalking her as she shopped for groceries, Theron said this:
“It’s news to me, but that’s kick-ass news. I like that… I think that what has happened to that franchise is amazing, »

Kate Beckinsale has addressed reports that she will return to the Underworld franchise for a new trilogy.
Sony's Screen Gems is apparently planning an Underworld 4 as the first of a new set of films and it was claimed that Beckinsale was set to reprise her role as the beautiful vampire warrior Selene.
But it looks like no one has bothered to tell Kate that she has signed for three more Underworld movies.
The actress, speaking at a press conference for new film Whiteout, told Collider: "I don't know anything about a fourth Underworld.
"I don't know anything about that at this point."
She added: "I think if they came up with an amazing script I wouldn't be adverse to it. But it's not planned or anything."
Asked about the rumours of her being signed for an entire Underworld trilogy, she responded: "God, three whole more! I don't think my daughter »

There is a chance that "Underworld 4", the first film of the proposed new "Underworld" trilogy, is going to see a familiar face with Kate Beckinsale rumored to be attached. Two sources have informed Bloody-Disgusting (Bd) about the 36-year-old actress' return to the series to reprise her Selene character.
If the rumor were true, her appearance in this fourth movie will mark her return in person to the series after only providing Selene's voiceover in the beginning and end of "Underworld: Rise of the Lycans". Bd noted that there is yet official confirmation from the people involved in the development of "Underworld 4" about her attachment.
In early August, it was reported that Screen Gems is moving ahead with a fourth "Underworld" film. The studio planned to shot the new movie in 3-D and is targeting a U.S. release on January 21, 2011. Soon thereafter, words were coming out that the studio was »

Just a few days ago we reported that a fourth installment in the 'Underworld' franchise is currently in the works. Since neither director Len Wiseman or actress Kate Beckinsale came back for the third film, it was popularly, and perhaps now erroneously, assumed that they wouldn't return for the fourth outing either.
However, Bloody-Disgusting is now reporting that it has received word from two different sources that Beckinsale is actually attached to Underworld 4. She will return as vampire warrior Selene, only this time, she will appear in 3-D.
Interesting, if true.
The new movie is currently eyeing a January 21, 2011 release date.
No word yet, though, on whether Wiseman, Michael Sheen, Bill Nighy, Rhona Mitra, or Scott Speedman will return. We'll keep you posted. »

Kate Beckinsale is set to sink her fangs into a fourth Underworld movie after learning the project will be in 3-D, according to reports.
The actress pulled out of the third installment of the vampire versus werewolves action movie, which was created by her husband filmmaker Len Wiseman, and was replaced by fellow Brit Rhona Mitra.
But Beckinsale will be back for Underworld 4: 3-D, according to movie news website BloodyDisgusting.com.
The new film is expected to hit cinemas in January, 2011. »
