Well after years of seeing gay characters on network TV, it's no longer shocking or novel in and of itself, it's just the norm. Which is a good thing because it shows that we've progressed, right? However, it also means that it's time to push the envelope a little bit further in terms of what viewers are willing to accept, and that's precisely what Shameless creator Paul Abbott is doing with his latest show Hit & Miss. The series stars Chloe Sevigny as a pre-op transsexual who works as a contract killer. Her character is an Irish Traveler who learns that she fathered a son 10 years before. While I'm pretty confident that Chloe Sevigny will do the role justice, it will be interesting to see how the show is received both by general viewers and by the transgender community. The show is currently airing on Sky Atlantic in the U.K. »
