Into the Badlands Renewed for Supersized Season 3 at AMC

AMC is heading back Into the Badlands… and it’s staying there a bit longer this time.

The martial-arts drama has been renewed for a third season, the network announced on Tuesday, with Season 3 expanding to a total of 16 episodes. Set in a post-apocalyptic world where fighters battle with fists and swords instead of guns, Badlands is currently airing its 10-episode Season 2 on Sunday nights.

Powerless (Essentially) Cancelled at NBC After Remaining Episodes Pulled

NBC is pulling the plug on Powerless.

The superhero-adjacent comedy has been yanked from the Peacock Network’s Thursday night schedule, which means it’s as good as cancelled. The switch starts this week, with Superstore shifting into its former 8:30/7:30c timeslot. (Superstore repeats will run at 8 pm for the next two weeks.)

Ratings: Gotham Returns Down, Supergirl and Jane Also Hit Lows

Following a three-month break, Fox bubble drama Gotham resumed Season 3 on Monday night with 2.9 million total viewers and a 0.9 demo rating, down 17 percent and two tenths from its winter finale to mark series lows.

Gotham however was up a tenth in the demo from time slot squatter 24: Legacy‘s week-ago finale. Readers gave The Riddler’s official debut an average grade of “B+.”
