I did not think much of Nanny 911! Supernanny is much better and I'll tell you why! Supernanny is a nice cheerful lady who helps parents (and kids) with their problems. She can be a bit stern and her methods don't always work but it's a good show to watch and I think it can help parents who are watching. The kids are so badly behaved. The parents try to control them but usually end up in tears. There is a quick scene where Joe tells the family what they are doing wrong. Practice begins soon after and unlike Nanny 911 Joe/Supernanny actually makes the parents play with the kids and is able to discipline them at the same time. Joe/Supernanny eventually leaves and keeps a watchful eye on the family (using her laptop) to see if the family can cope on their own. Usually the answer is no and Supernanny returns! In the last 15 or 20 minutes the family are finally OK and the kids are happy and well disciplined. This is a very good show especially for parents who may be having problems of their own. Just before the adverts Supernanny gives out helpful hints! Overall this is a very good show. 7.5/10
