Synopsis for
"Secret Diary of a Call Girl"
Episode #1.4 (2007)

Hot wax drips on skin. Riiiiip. Belle spends half her time as an escort waxing and prepping her body. But sometimes, pain can be pleasure.

In Belle's bed, a middle-aged man rolls off her. She asks him how much she owes him and checks her ledger. "Call it even?" He tells her she needs a receipt. Her accountant. He hands her paperwork and tells her to put 40 percent away.

He has something to get off his chest. She's always been so nice to him. He doesn't want her to be nice to him.

She goes running with Ben. She tells him the guy she's sleeping with is into S & M. She can tell him she's having sex, just not that she's getting paid for it. Ben tells her he proposed to his girlfriend. A month ago. Her words say she's happy, her face says she's not. She feels left out to just now be finding out.

She consults with her madam about domination. She wants to give it a try. The madam recommends someone, Cerona.

A pleather clad woman and a mute pleather-clad man show up at Belle's door. Cerona barks at the man to get on all fours. Belle offers her tea, then asks him. Cerona tells Belle he won't speak without permission.

Cerona makes sure Belle takes it seriously. She does. Cerona demonstrates a few commands. Then leaves Belle alone with the man, still on all fours. Cerona barks for him, he crawls over.

The working women chat. There's no sex in domination. How do you know when you're done? Belle asks. When her watch beeps.

She's also married, to a professor. He knows what she does. Belle envies being able to share it with someone. Pan down to under the table, where the man has been licking Cerona's boot. Cerona kicks him, lets Belle take a whack.

She pronounces Belle ready.

Belle preps. She goes to the sex shop, clears out her apartment. She misses Ben's call. She goes back to the sex shop. Misses another call from Ben.

She puts tarp over her windows. Misses another call from Ben. She sets up a saddle sort of contraption and candles. Her phone rings again. She sees it's Ben and doesn't answer.

She tries on her pleather. The doorbell rings. In walks the accountant. She gives him directions, including to put on a thong. He replies with an excited "yes, Mistress."

Belle tells us that she has a script she'll be working from. She ties him to the saddle chair and tells him to do whatever she tells him. She starts an escaped prisoner routine. He begs. She lashes him lightly. She digs her heels into him. He begs her to stop. She thinks he means it. A simple "red, amber or green?" assesses his enjoyment. Green. She puzzles over how she's supposed to tell he's having a good time, given that the job won't end the way hers usually do. He asks what to do next and she's out of ideas. She runs off and calls Cerona.

Cut to him carefully licking her toilet clean. "And then do the kitchen," she tells him.

She checks her voice messages. All from Ben. She calls him up and chews him out for not telling her. He calls her a hypocrite for not telling him what she's up to anymore.

Belle takes it out on the client, getting into the whipping. Beating him until he cries "red!" She's freaked out. Asks him to get her out of her pleather. They share an awkward moment. They both apologize. Belle says she'll recommend someone else.

Hannah storms over to see Ben. She says maybe she is a hypocrite, but at least she's not a coward. They talk. He thought she wouldn't approve because she doesn't like his girlfriend. He knows she's keeping secrets. He just doesn't know they're naked secrets.

She learned one thing from S & M: maybe complete control isn't best. She sends Ben a text with a link to her escort Web site. OMG.
