  • All British release versions prior to 1993 ran 93 minutes, due to the deletion by the distributors of a scene showing real neo-Nazis expounding their ideology. This was restored for the 1993 Connoisseur Video release.

  • The U.S. distributor of the film, United Artists removed seven minutes of controversial footage in which a Nazi officer calmly expounds upon the cultural menace of Judaism. The removed seven minutes have been preserved on the director's cut U.S. DVD release. The director's cut version of the film featuring the cut seven minutes has been shown on TCM.
