• Continuity: When Molly is racing the team around the track, Trumaine's pants are filthy. As he rounds the track, they are suddenly spotless.
  
  
• Continuity: Krushinski is just demoted from starting quarterback. He mentions to Molly that he makes a great slot back. The next scene is of a slot back making a great run, only the slot back is black. He gets tackled and when he gets up you see a very white Krushinski with the ball.
  
  
• Crew or equipment visible: Whilst the team is exercising on the field, the shadow of the camera crew can be seen.
  
  

• Continuity: The writing on the chalkboard behind Molly changes as she is giving her halftime speech during the Prescott game.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: When coach McGrath is taking the Jackson High School mascot, a goat, back to Jackson High School, although she is alone in the van, you clearly see a hand holding onto the goat's leg so he doesn't move around.
  
  
• Continuity: During the final play of the championship game against Prescott, the Prescott kick is blocked by Finch, and the ball is subsequently returned for the winning touchdown by Levander "Bird" Williams. However, in shots of coach McGrath just before the play began, Bird is on the sideline just behind her.
  
  
• Continuity: Krushinski (Woody Harrelson) has a number change from 89 to 26 during the film.
