Woody Harrelson is back in action in Zombieland. I always liked him in Money Train and I consider Natural Born Killers an action movie. He had a good perspective on his cinematic status.
Harrelson Has Fun With Zombieland
.Yes, I always fancy myself an action hero actor, and then I didn.t actually get the parts to prove it out, but no, it was cool,. Harrelson said. .It is a very cathartic thing to be able to kick ass and not really hurt anybody..
Zombieland pairs Harrelson up with Jesse Eisenberg in the zombie apocalypse. .My character is very much a loner and really believes that to survive, you have to be alone, but I run into his character and we have kind of a tense moment where we don.t know what.s going to happen and then fortunately we end up becoming buddies.. »

Lakeview Terrace screenwriter David Loughery has sold his latest film pitch, a supernatural thriller called Mourning After. THR describes the project as set in San Francisco and involves a man who falls in love with a woman who harbors a secret. Hey, vampires are in right now; d'you think Loughery's mysterious lady is a bloodsucker? I'm taking odds, place yer bets, place yer bets...
The companies that purchased the pitch are Sidney Kimmel Entertainment, A Bigger Boat and GreeneStreet Films. All three firms will develop Loughery's idea -- which as it turns out originally came from Charles Segars and Steve Ireland and then Loughery pitched it -- as it becomes a screenplay.
Loughery's feature writing career started in 1984 with Dreamscape, a thriller with sci-fi overtones that starred Dennis Quaid and Kate Capshaw. He then wrote Star Trek V: The Final Frontier, Passenger 57, the 1993 version of The Three Musketeers, a »

Fango recently had a chance to speak to director Joseph Ruben, whose credits include Dreamscape, The Stepfather, Sleeping With The Enemy and The Good Son, and who revealed his current plans to do his first sequel: a follow-up to his 2004 paranormal thriller The Forgotten. (Spoiler Alert for those going forward who haven’t seen the original.)
Ruben is currently developing the project with screenwriter David Loughery. “I met him years ago on Dreamscape—he wrote the original draft on that—and we’ve been collaborating ever since,” the director tells us. “He did a production rewrite on The Stepfather and contributed a lot on Money Train and The Good Son. We’ve spent the last couple of months working up a script for a Forgotten sequel, which I really like. It’s very lively and very scary, and this one centers on the relationship between a young man and a young woman. »

The memorial service for Michael Jackson on Tuesday brought out a galaxy of stars who paid tribute to the King of Pop at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, from Usher and Jennifer Hudson to Lionel Richie and Stevie Wonder. But some may have wondered, "Who was that singing 'I'll Be There' with Mariah Carey?"
His name is Trey Lorenz and he's a 40-year-old singer from Florence, South Carolina, who is a longtime friend and collaborator of Carey's. He duetted with her on the 1992 cover of the song, which debuted on "MTV Unplugged" and became a #1 hit single for the diva.

The first major job she had was as a dancer in the television show In Living Color in 1990. Hollywood hasn't given us a good train hijacking since Robert Blake lost his head in Money Train. Well that wait is over, assuming The Taking of Pelham 123 is half as good as its first trailer makes it seem. The movie stars Denzel Washington stars as New York City subway dispatcher, whose ordinary day is thrown into chaos by the hijacking of a subway train. John Travolta stars as Ryder, the criminal mastermind who, as leader of a highly-armed gang of four, threatens to execute the train's passengers unless a large ransom is paid within one hour. As the tension mounts beneath his feet, Garber employs his vast knowledge of the subway system in a battle to outwit Ryder and save the hostages. Watch the first trailer for The Taking of Pelham 123 below, or in high-res right here. »
