Prep takes place in the 70's. Wagner is trying to receive a basketball scholarship so that he may attend college. But McCormick has many conflicts with Wagner throughout the movie. Racial tension is high as Glen is one of the only four African Americans in the whole school. There is tension between the basketball team and the hockey team.
