Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

Note: The number at the beginning of each section refers to how much explicit content of that kind there is in the film on a scale of 1-10. The fraction at the end of the last section is the total sum of the sections over the highest sum possible (50) and is therefore an approximation of about how explicit the film is a whole.

Sex & Nudity: 6

Two young women undress and climb into tanning beds, their bare breasts are shown and one wears a thong and the other apparently is fully nude (nothing below the waist is shown). Two young women wear low-cut pants with the top of their thong panties exposed. Two young women wear short skirts that reveal bare abdomens and tight-fitting, low-cut tops that reveal cleavage. A young man holds a camera under a young woman's skirt and snaps a picture that we see later (we see part of her buttocks and panties). A young man wears a necklace in the shape of a nude woman and he licks its breast.

Violence & Gore

Violence & Gore: 10

Two young women in tanning beds are trapped inside them as the bulbs begin to heat up past capacity: their skin begins to burn and blister, they scream and pound trying to get out, the glass covers over the bulbs break, one young woman is cut on the face and the glass beneath her breaks and she falls onto the bulbs; meanwhile the plastic goggles they wear melt onto their faces, and they both burst into flames (we see them screaming and thrashing while engulfed in flames).

Wood and building supplies fall off high shelves knocking people to the floor and covering them with rubble; one young woman is shoved back against a shelf and runs into a nail gun that jams and shoots her with nails through the head repeatedly (we see the nails coming through her face and eye and blood pours from the holes).

A truck with no driver rolls through a street, crashes into the back of a parked car, the car is pushed onto the back of another car (a convertible) and the engine's fan cuts into the driver's head, spraying and splattering blood and matter around.

Fireworks shoot toward several people, they duck, the fireworks hit a cherry picker that is jolted and the basket falls on a young man on the ground, cutting him in two (we see blood and matter splatter and half of his body twitches on the ground).

A young man pushes on a piece of exercise equipment, and two of its pieces swing down and crush his head between them (blood and matter spray in all directions).

A roller coaster begins its run, the cars begin to break apart, wheels fly off, cars separate from the track, the restraints unlock, and riders are thrown out of the ride: one young man dangles from the side of the speeding coaster, he is knocked loose by another piece and slams into a beam (we hear a crunch when he hits), while remaining cars stop at the top of a loop, riders cling to them, and several lose their grip and fall to the ground (we see them twisted on the ground below, and one young man is impaled by a piece of the track; we hear a crunch, we see organs and matter and blood sprays on a young woman's face).

A train comes off its tracks, begins to spin through a tunnel, people in the train are thrown, a young woman is crushed by a loose wheel that is thrown through the side of the train, a young man is pulled out through the train's window and splattered by another train car, and we see numerous dead and bloody bodies and body parts after the train stops. The woman is then run over another train. A young woman is impaled by a flagpole (blood covers the pole as it comes through the front of her body and into the ground in front of her).

A young woman on train tracks screams as a train speeds toward her (the scene ends).

Profanity

Profanity: 5

38 F-words, 4 obscene hand gestures, 1 obscene arm gesture, 2 sexual references, 19 scatological terms, 5 anatomical terms, 10 mild obscenities, 1 religious profanity, 12 religious exclamations.

Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking: 1

None.

Frightening/Intense Scenes: 8

Almost all the characters are killed in violent and ultimately gory fashions, and the tension of death is featured in every single scene. The deaths that take place throughout the film include impalements, bisections, crushing, blunt force trauma and decapaciation, and each of them are horriffic and include massive amounts of blood and gore.

An idea of how accurate the TECE (below) is: 5-10 is a little-kid suitable, G-Rated type of film (i.e. Care Bears, Sleeping Beauty); 10-15 is going to be a little harsher, but not by much (i.e. The Incredibles); 15-20 could be pretty high up there (i.e. Indiana Jones), 20-25 is going to pretty darn adult (i.e. The Dark Knight); 25-30 is going to be a film most likely not suitable for anyone under 17 (i.e. Braveheart); 30-40 is going to be an absolutely, positively adults-only film (i.e. THIS) and if a movie has ever gone past 40, then I haven't heard of it.

Total Explicit Content Estimation: 30/50.
