Trivia:

The subject of the film piqued director Paul McGuigan's interest and led him to find out all that he could about it on the Internet, some of which he found quite incredible, notably in the experiments conducted during the Cold War by both the Soviets and the Americans.

Goofs:

Continuity: When Nick grabs two guns to go after Henry Carver at the Chinese restaurant, he puts one under his shirt in front and one behind his back. Then he is shown walking through the street with a gun obviously under his shirt in front as he's walking. Then he arrives at the restaurant and lifts the two guns from his back under his shirt.

Pretty good

When I first saw the preview, I waited months for the movie to come out where I live. As soon as I found it, I bought it, and then went home and read reviews. They were disappointing. Said the movie was bad, had lots of plot holes, the ending was terrible, etc. I doubtlessly watched the movie the next day and found myself glued to the screen.

The acting is pretty amazing from the very start. The visual effects, and the way the movie was filmed are a masterpiece. The powers are attractive and I found myself wishing to be some kind of a telekinetic later.

It's obviously not Slumdog Millionaire, The Godfather or any enlightened movie that has the best plot ever. Just watch and don't expect the best movie in your life.

It was really entertaining! I recommend it!
