Yes. The Uninvited is a remake of the 2003 South Korean horror film A Tale of Two Sisters, which was inspired by a Korean folktale entitled "Janghwa, Hongryeon", which has been adapted to film several times. "Janghwa" ("Rose Flower") and "Hongreyon" ("Red Lotus") refer to the two daughters of a man named Bae. The story was adapted for this movie by Korean director Kim Ji-Woon with additional input by screenwriters Craig Rosenberg, Doug Miro, and Carlo Bernard.

Rachel is uninvited in Anna's life.
It is either Anna or Rachel. In the film, there is a scene where Anna looks into the boathouse just like that, however it is not as creepy-looking as it is on the poster. Also, at the end of the TV spots when the main title is displayed, the poster is shown, but the woman's hand has a wedding ring on it, so it could also be Rachel and it would make the most sense for it to be her.
It is implied that this was all part of Anna's psychotic hallucination, in order for her to have a reason to kill Rachel, as she had mentally blocked out the events from the past, when she caught her father cheating on her dying mother with Rachel, it so enraged Anna, that she decided to burn down the house, killing Rachel and Anna's father. But accidentally caused the boathouse to explode killing Alex and her mother. So she created the whole killer nanny story in her mind from the background of her neighbor in the mental hospital.
