Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.
Visit our Parents Guide Help to learn more

Sex & Nudity

None shown. There is a scene where a fat girl moves closer and closer to a scrawny little boy, as if she wants to express feelings for her.

Violence & Gore

A man falls to his death off a building as result of a freak accident on a construction job. We later see his corpse in the E.R.

A kid abuses an alien creature multiple times after it doesn't give him what he wants. We see him submerge its head in water and violently throw it into the trash.

A kid is bullied throughout the film

A fat girl and a group of bullies fight each other in one scene, this scene is over exaggerated and is not meant to be taken seriously.

Profanity

Uses of milder terms, like "ass" and "damn".

Smoking in one scene.

The scene with the dad's death by falling to his death off the high-rise building may be too intense for the younger ones.

Some may find the scenes where the dad and the kid eat rotten food particularly gross, while others may find it funny.
