Plot:

In London, a real-estate scam puts millions of pounds up for grabs, attracting some of the city's scrappiest tough guys and its more established underworld types, all of whom are looking to get rich quick. While the city's seasoned criminals vie for the cash, an unexpected player -- a drugged out rock 'n' roller presumed to be dead but very much alive -- has a multi-million dollar prize fall into his hands.

Trivia:

The sex scene montage only came about because on the day of filming Gerard Butler had a nasty throat infection and Thandie Newton refused to kiss him. Guy Ritchie then improvised the revised scene into the very funny montage it is now.

Goofs:

Anachronisms: When we first meet Johnny, he flashes back to his childhood, singing in his bedroom. We are indicated it is fifteen years earlier by an on screen note. As the scene progresses and we see more of the boy's room, a Playstation video game console can clearly be seen under the boy's television. If the movie took place in the year 2008, this scene would be taking place in 1993, but this console was not released until the end of 1995.

Welcome back, Guy.

I just saw this film and I obviously loved it. I had been a huge fan of Guy Richie's "Snatch" and "Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels." Then he married Madonna and made a few bum movies, especially "Revolver." Well rest easy, Guy Richie Fans, the man who made the two great movies I listed above is back and funnier, more intense, and a better writer/director than ever. The first ten or twenty minutes of the movie are a little confusing, but as long as you follow the characters and events (which isn't hard to do since they're fantastic and well acted) you'll understand and enjoy "RocknRolla". I'll also add that the soundtrack is great.
