When Finn bumps against the Dejarik (chess) table, the game that appears is the same game played by Chewbacca and C-3PO in Episode IV. The small creature that was thrown to the ground by the considerably larger creature is seen getting back to its feet, and then smashing his larger opponent with a mace-like weapon. See more »

This will begin to make things right. I've traveled too far and seen too much to ignore the despair in the galaxy. Without the Jedi, there can be no balance in the Force.

I was totally expecting something awesome. Instead, I watched a regular ol' Saturday morning teen angst movie. Okay, it was great to see the original guys (where was Yoda?) but otherwise, who cares if Rey is in love with Finn? All the younger, newer, ones are young, almost teens themselves and totally cookie-cutter characters.
Sorry guys. Someone needs to try harder.
The special effects were spectacular was expected, but it was the same material rehashed. I mean, the final flight through the 'canyon' was out of the original 3 episodes. The dogfights between the Tie fighters and the X-Wings are nothing new. OKay, they were in a different location, but still, the same old thing.
I think everyone has seen enough planets exploding. You guys need to think of something new.
