Trivia

Following the plane crash, Jamie is rescued by a fisherman, played by Haudenosaunee (Mohawk) actor Gary Farmer. The character is apparently supposed be Inuit; his name is given in the credits as "Anik" ("brother", in the Inuit language), and he says repeatedly to Jamie "Tukusigni Namaq", which means "I don't understand." His assumed ethnicity is somewhat at odds with the lush forest surrounding his cabin. See more »

rubbish plot, bad direction
27 September 2015 | by (england) – See all my reviews

Have read the book which was not too bad, but the only connection between this and the book is the title! Different characters, different plot (except main premise of animals attacking humans). The 'science' would embarrass a primary school kid. Bats in the antarctic, really? As usual with American TV everything has to be a conspiracy theory with this big multinational and a magic mother cell. The animals suddenly see us differently,OK so far,but this is taken literally and the affected animals have a change to their eyes. Maybe however removing the eyes will fix this (as per the horses), seems to me that blind animals won't be much of a threat whether it cures it or not. The actors put up a reasonable effort but are defeated by the story and direction.
