Jon Bernthal would like to see Daredevil and Jessica Jones in The Punisher season 2

Last month it was announced that Netflix will be welcoming back Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle for a second season of The Punisher, and speaking at Ace Comic Con (via Comic Book), Bernthal has revealed that he’s hoping to see a couple of the Defenders making a guest appearance when he reprises the role of the gun-toting vigilante.

“I love Charlie Cox,” said Bernthal. “I’ve worked with him before and I’d work with him again on anything in a heartbeat. He’s the reason I’m doing this. He brought me into this and his performance is what made me want to do it. That being said, [The Defenders are] all great. I’m a huge fan of Krysten Ritter’s too. She’s killer and I’d love to work with her as well.”

Jon Bernthal on whether Shane could make an appearance in Fear the Walking Dead

Could Jon Bernthal’s Shane make an appearance in Fear the Walking Dead? The actor has weighed in with his opinion.

Bernthal’s performance as Shane in The Walking Dead was one that brought him to the attention of mainstream audiences and his career has gone from strength to strength ever since being killed off in season 2.

The question was put to Bernthal if his old character could turn up on the spin off Fear the Walking Dead, a possibility considering other characters have crossed over and the timelines don’t align.

Unfortunately for fans of Shane, Bernthal doesn’t seem to think it will happen, saying as much when asked by Daily Express (via ComicBook.com): “I loved Shane and whilst I’m super grateful I got to do that, he was a character that had a beginning, middle and end, and I got a whole rounded opportunity.

Expect Maggie To Continue Down Her “Path Of Vengeance” In The Walking Dead

The people of Alexandria bore witness to some truly horrific events throughout the first half of The Walking Dead season 8, and according to Lauren Cohan, things will only get worse before they get better.

Set to reprise the role of Maggie on February 25th, Cohan’s grief-stricken protagonist has been running on revenge ever since Negan murdered Glenn before her very eyes. It’s that ruthless act that continues to haunt Maggie, as evidenced by her decision to murder a Savior in cold blood and ship his lifeless body back to Negan – but not before she included a note (threat?) directed at Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s baddie.

It was a brutal and indeed shocking twist for a character who has so often been portrayed as a mild-mannered hero. But as Cohan tells Entertainment Weekly, Maggie has since been placed on a “path of vengeance.”

She continues down this path of

Could Shane Swing By Fear The Walking Dead? Jon Bernthal Chimes In

Morgan Jones is bound for AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead, so why not Shane Walsh, too?

That very question was posed to Jon Bernthal during a recent interview with the Daily Express (via ComicBook.com), in which the former Walking Dead star entertained the possibility of resurrecting Shane. And, well, we hope we haven’t got your hopes up.

Because although Bernthal is immensely proud of his time on AMC’s flagship zombie drama, “Shane died in that field,” which is to say that there’s basically zero chance of Fear The Walking Dead welcoming Jon Bernthal into its midst. Not now, and perhaps not ever, as the actor tells the Daily Express:

I loved Shane and whilst I’m super grateful I got to do that, he was a character that had a beginning, middle and end, and I got a whole rounded opportunity. I feel like we

AMC Teasing More Walking Dead Spinoffs?

The Walking Dead hasn’t had the easiest time lately, with the show continuing to struggle with declining ratings and controversial storytelling decisions. Despite this, though, AMC still handed out a renewal for season 9 this past weekend, ensuring that we’ve got at least one additional year left of the zombie drama. But what comes after that?

Well, we’ve heard numerous times now that those involved in The Walking Dead hope to do at least 10 seasons, if not more, and at this point it looks likely that they’ll get their wish, but you’ve gotta imagine that the end is in sight. I mean, the cast aren’t getting any younger and with ratings starting to slip, it might be best to go out while the show is still mostly on top. That doesn’t mean that the brand as a whole has to vanish, though. Far from it,
