Sixty-two year old Richard Turner is renowned as one of the world's greatest card magicians, yet he is completely blind. This is an in-depth look at a complex character who is one of magic's greatest hidden treasures.
Bill Nye is retiring his kid show act in a bid to become more like his late professor, astronomer Carl Sagan. Sagan dreamed of launching a spacecraft that could change interplanetary exploration. Bill sets out to accomplish Sagan's space mission, but he is pulled away when he is challenged by evolution and climate change contrarians to defend the scientific consensus. Can Bill show the world why science matters in a culture increasingly indifferent to evidence?
Breathtakingly bad. The cognitive dissonance cup run over flowing. Bill Nye has not always been this bad. His contributions 20 years ago in educating young children is admirable. I can remember my nephew watching his shows and thinking there is merit in what he is watching. None of that is present in this film.
