Storyline

From the executive producer of The Walking Dead and the executive producer of The X-Files, this anthology series brings to life Aaron Mahnke's "Lore" podcast and uncovers the real-life events that spawned our darkest nightmares. Blending dramatic scenes, animation, archive and narration, Lore reveals how our horror legends - such as vampires, werewolves and body snatchers - are rooted in truth.

It's both good and bad at the same time

When the podcast "Lore" first got released I subscribed directly, but I soon gave it up because of Aaron Mahnke's voice. I really couldn't pinpoint exactly what the problem was, I just knew it wasn't for me. So when my husband came home and said that Lore had been dramatized I told him about this, but agreed to giving it a chance.

We watched the last episode yesterday, and mostly it was good. But the narrator's voice still annoyed me, and it started to annoy my husband as well.

The theme of the show is great, I enjoyed it a lot. It's a show you don't really have to be focused on while watching, I sat and played games on my phone most of the time but still understood the plot. I would recommend it to those of you who like horror stories, but don't want to be scared. If you're interested in history, anthropology and lore, this is a show for you.
