Can an RNC establishment attack dog re-invent itself?
Apparently not. Her side swiping Trump in the debate did not mean she suddenly became a darling to the liberal viewership. It was more like a great shot out of the woods by a rather disliked golfer, the crowd roared, you were the talk of the golf world for a week, and that's it.
Eventually it was proved out that a majority of those guys who quickly raised their hands to pledge their undying support to the party nominee, were lying! Making Trump look great because he refused to pledge(This is what I saw happening, and I can't stand Trump! It's just my assessment of what happened.) So even though she did her best to PERSONALLY derail and humiliate a candidate, all she really did was make him look sympathetic to most Republican voters. "Look, even the Right wing media is attacking him".
She's now relegated to the very same type of show other females have gotten after leaving a powerful newscast, like Deborah Norville, or Katie Couric. I don't think she's going to be as successful as either of those, and they weren't that successful either.
She was, after all, the female face of right wing media! Just because she switched networks doesn't mean the viewers of left Wing media are going to forgive, or forget that. She's considered a traitor to the right, and not liked by the left. This is going to flop hard, like face forward into concrete.
I predict after this not only will she slowly fade from public view, but right now studio execs are being screamed at "What were you thinking?", about hiring her in the first place. I can see 100 yr old Alex Tribeck asking a final Jeopardy about her and everybody stumped.
I watched the latest episode and her confidence is shot, she's breathing strangely, she looks like a deer in headlights. She knows it's over the second her contract expires. Her story introduction monologues are only 40 seconds long and she looks like she's barely keeping it together during them. She literally looks like she's struggling with stage fright.
Her story about Tech world women harassment wasn't even employees getting harassed! It's women trying to get investors in their start-ups and being hit on by guys at private meetings....well gahhhhhh duhhh. I'll bet I could find 6 males that got hit on by cougar investors in a cattle call casting too! The girl was a Katie Holmes look alike. My guess is she only did the show for publicity for her company! That isn't a news segment, it's a commercial! Paul Harvey would be proud.
The Segment on Trump was pathetic. Nothing new or substantive, unless you like wild speculation by people who aren't in the know, or have any facts."I was standing right outside this building that day" as if that lends any credence whatsoever to her story. I could say "I was walking past Heidi Klum once and our eyes locked, I think we had a moment" type of reporting. I once was in the same building as Elvis, and although we didn't see each other, I'm writing a tell all about my suspicions... This is literally what passes as journalism on her show! So we end with a puff piece on Jada Smith "Mega Star", what are the qualifications for a term that used to be used to describe Elvis, Michael, The Beatles, Marilyn, Cher (but not Sonny), Celine(but not Henri) you get what I'm saying? Tom but not Rita, Lucy, but not Desi. Just because you have sex with an arguably big movie star does not make YOU a Mega Star.
There's the BS Puffing that went on! And then she said: But you have kids that have drive? I literally burst out laughing, because her and her husband are nowadays mostly famous as the biggest "Bad Tennis Parents", in the world. I can see Richard Williams thanking God every night in prayer "Nobody even thinks of me anymore when bad tennis parents are mentioned, Thanks to you Will Smith! But My girls actually had talent!"
I can't wait for the kids to start writing their tell all books.
Anyways after watching Kelly sell her soul in at least 3 segments, you want to just take her hand, look her in the eye and whisper "Take the money and run", "Go to that country club where OJ golfs, Pee Wee watches movies, Kramer does stand up." You're overcooked.
